In 2020, the City of Powell River began construction on our most ambitious infrastructure project in the City's history.
The new wastewater treatment plant will significantly improve how we treat our wastewater and minimize our human impact on the marine environment. The $76 million project is funded by the Government of Canada, Government of BC and City of Powell River.
